Updates for Warzone and Call of Duty

A significant patch update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been released by developer Treyarch Studios, including several bug fixes, enhancements, and new content to the well-known first-person shooter. Developer Raven Software has released a new patch for Call of Duty: Warzone, a free-to-play battle royale game, and a new update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Black Ops 6 and Warzone Release Big Update:

• Treyarch Studios and Raven Software release updates for Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
• Now, both games can participate in the Squid Game event, a limited-time event offering new modes, store bundles, and a premium event pass.
• In addition, the most recent version has many bug fixes and enhancements for Warzone, Zombies, and multiplayer.

One of the three new limited-time modes coming to Black Ops 6 with the collaboration will be Red Light, Green Light, where players must run from one end of a field to the other within the time limit, but players will only be allowed to move when they hear “green light” and must come to a halt whenever they hear “red light” or they will be eliminated.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone’s most recent update is now available on all compatible platforms, including PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. In addition to some features with a Squid Game theme, the most recent Call of Duty update also includes several bug fixes and enhancements to the quality of life in Warzone, Zombies, and multiplayer. Treyarch has improved the game’s after-action report’s user interface, boosted all mantle speeds, and allowed opening and closing doors while sprinting, among other changes.

The January 3 Squid Game update will bring many new modes and cosmetic items to both Warzone and Black Ops 6, but the partnership hasn’t been without criticism. Many anticipated that the partnership would only consist of a few limited-time modes and numerous new store packages, but Activision had other ideas. Players will now be able to purchase a premium event pass for the Squid Game collaboration in addition to the Season 1 Battle Pass. This pass will provide players access to certain special incentives, such as a new Front Man operator skin. However, this was not well received by the community, with many criticizing Activision for launching yet another premium Battle Pass.
